Silicon metal is a refined form of metallurgical-grade silicon, typically containing around 98.5% to 99.99% silicon, and is produced primarily through the reduction of quartz (silicon dioxide) with carbon in electric arc furnaces. It is a critical raw material in several industrial applications, especially in the production of aluminum alloys, silicones, and semiconductors. In the aluminum industry, silicon metal is used to enhance the strength and castability of aluminum alloys, which are widely employed in the automotive and aerospace sectors. The electronics industry also relies heavily on ultra-pure silicon metal for manufacturing semiconductors and photovoltaic cells for solar panels, driving strong demand globally.

The global market for silicon metal is influenced by rising demand in renewable energy and electronics sectors, particularly…

Vitamins are organic compounds that are essential for the normal growth, development, and functioning of the human body. They play critical roles in various metabolic processes, including energy production, immune system support, bone health, and wound healing. There are 13 essential vitamins divided into two categories: fat-soluble (A, D, E, and K) and water-soluble (B-complex vitamins and vitamin C). Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the body's fatty tissues and liver, while water-soluble vitamins are not stored and need to be replenished regularly through diet. Each vitamin has specific functions—for instance, vitamin A supports vision, vitamin D helps in calcium absorption, and B vitamins are vital for energy metabolism.

Vitamins are primarily obtained through a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables,…
